St. George SeaPerch Teams

Herring Gut Learning Center received a grant for four SeaPerch Remote Operating Vehicle (ROV) kits, and JML was lucky to be able to collaborate with Herring Gut, Owls Head Transportation Museum, and the St. George School students. We have had between 10-12 students in the sixth and seventh grade working hard for the past couple weeks to assemble SeaPerch ROVs. Yesterday, we were able to take them outside to a tub filled with water to test them out, and also took one for a test drive in the Marsh! They will be taking their ROVs to Bath YMCA on Saturday to take part in the Challenge. What a great learning opportunity it has been! View the photos by clicking here!
