A Garden Can Change A City

Liam lives in a pretty dull, colorless, sad looking city.  Nothing grows there.  But that doesn't stop Liam exploring and being curious.  His curiosity leads him to a surprise hiding under some abandoned railroad track above the city.  It's color.  It's plants.  By caring for that small patch , it grows even bigger and begins to be "curious" too.  The city is transformed, along with the people living in it.
With the feeling of Spring finally in the air, Peter Brown's message is clear.  A garden can change a city.  Check out the author's letter in the back to see what inspired him.
