Shop Your Community Farm Market! Herring Gut Learning Center Donation is Raffle Ready

Our community has been blessed with the alternative aquaculture education offered at Herring Gut Learning Center.  Herring Gut has grown and changed in so many ways, it is an inspiration to watch the transformation of its students and the center itself.  For the past couple of summers Herring Gut Learning Center has joined forces with Bittersweet Heritage Farm to offer our neighborhood an amazing Community Farm Market that offers everything from First Work Experience teen gardener grown vegetables to Bittersweet's amazing cheeses, eggs and milks.

This year Herring Gut Learning Center has donated a $15 gift certificate to the Community Farm Market as well as a great Herring Gut Learning Center shirt.  Herring Gut has done many great things for our library including the building and installation of storm windows to help keep us warm through the winter and we couldn't be more thankful for this great donation that is truly a gift to the community.

Herring Gut Learning Center is a non-profit marine education center nestled near the waterfront in Port Clyde.  The Herring Gut Community Market is open every Thursday from 10am to 3pm through August 23rd and is located at the end of Lobster Pound Road right across from the Port Clyde Fresh Catch.  Stop down for fresh, local veggies and herbs.
