Libri Foundation Grant

In March, the Jackson Memorial Library was awarded a grant from the Libri Foundation to buy 62 new books for the collection.  The books have finally been cataloged and shelved and are ready for you to check out!  If you'd like to see a list of them, you can look at them on our Pinterest page here. There are fiction and nonfiction books aimed at all readers between preschool and high school (and some appeal to adults as well!)

The Libri Foundation was established in 1989 for the sole purpose of helping rural libraries acquire new, quality, hardcover children's books they could not otherwise afford to buy. Since October 1990, the Foundation has donated over $5.25 million worth of new children's books to more than 3,000 libraries in all 50 states. You can find out more information about them at their website
