Have spade; will travel - a request for special donations

In preparation for the July 17 Book Fair at Jackson Memorial Library in Tenants Harbor, library volunteers are now seeking donations of healthy perennial plants and household treasures (costume jewelry, household items, and small pieces of furniture). Need your garden thinned?  Want to move out Aunt Polly’s costume jewelry or Uncle Jim’s favorite lamp while spring cleaning?  For assistance with moving items or plants to our storage area, please call the library at 372-8961.

The annual Book Fair, held during July St. George Days, offers residents and visitors 1000’s of gently used hard cover and paperback books, home baked goods, a silent art auction as well as raffle items from local artists and businesses, a Kiddie Korner, hardy perennial plants and a wonderful jumble of treasures.
